Intarsia or wood inlay is an old technique from the 16th century, when craftsmanship and tools first allowed to make very thin layers of wood for furniture decorating purposes. This project started out to find new ways of implementing such a marvellous technique on new wave objects, such as a skateboard. A few collectible pieces were manufactured for special sale.
