The first idea of this group exhibition came from contemporary artists Fajgerné Dudás Andrea and Horváth Lóczi Judit, as the continuation of Similar Stories, a show addressing the theme of motherhood’s controversial and difficult phenomenons.
They invited us, four more artists to join them and the exhibition’s curator Sipos Tünde to develop the concept together.

Gergely-Farnos Lilla, Nádas Eszter, Surányi Nóra and myself started to discuss the concept. We found The Guardian’s article: “A woman's greatest enemy? A lack of time to herself” very inspiring and descriptive so we decided to give our group show the title: Uninterrupted Mom, referring to the uninterrupted time we so rarely have as artists and mothers. I decided to explore the concept of “hanging/dependence” in a visual way and exhibited three paintings and three levitating objects. My son, Jonatán (5 years old at the time) also exhibited his digital works and two blue birds painted on cardboard.

Group exhibition @ MANK GALÉRIA, Szentendre. October 19 - November 19, 2023.

Digital works of my son Jonatan Albert (5).
